This updated version of the 2 Hours to Scrivener Power course uses the new Scrivener 3. If you have an older version of Scrivener, we recommend making sure you’ve upgraded to Scrivener 3 before you start this course as many of the menu items are different between versions. Plus, we cover many of Scrivener’s super-useful new features in the course including the threaded corkboard which allows you to keep track of individual story threads, subplots or timeframes; the linguistic focus which helps you overview the kind of language you are using (or overusing!); the centred outliner which helps you build your manuscript up from an outline or create an outline from your manuscript; plus project and document bookmarks which are a new and very handy new way of managing and quickly accessing your research documents and images.
This course is for anyone who would like to streamline and organise their writing. If you’re in the process of writing a novel, screenplay, or any other long-form creative work, this is for you.

Natasha uses Scrivener on a Mac so all of her videos feature Scrivener on a Mac. This course does not feature the Windows interface.
In just a couple of minutes (or less!) you can easily import your Word document into Scrivener. One of the course videos shows you how to do this.

Natasha Lester is an award-winning author of historical novels. Her latest book is The Riviera House, a lush, engrossing and deeply moving story of the brave women who worked against the Nazis. Her other recent novels include The Paris Secret, a sweeping story of bravery and love set during World War II, The French Photographer (or The Paris Orphan in the US), about a female photojournalist in Paris during the Second World War, and The Paris Seamstress, which is set in the male-dominated world of 1940s New York fashion. Natasha’s other novels include A Kiss from Mr Fitzgerald, If I Should Lose You, What is Left Over, After, and Her Mother’s Secret. Fed up with using Word to keep everything organised, she decided to get familiar with Scrivener – and hasn’t looked back!
