COMP CLOSED: Tell us your favourite “WIN” word to win Tim Winton memoirs

We’re kicking off 2018 with the chance to win not one, not two, not four, not five, but THREE of Australian author Tim Winton’s memoirs.

Here are the details of the books:

Land’s Edge: Tim Winton’s Land’s Edge is a celebration of the coastal life and those who surrender themselves to it. This was Winton’s first memoir.

The Boy Behind the Curtain: Extraordinarily powerful true stories that take us behind the scenes, revealing the accidents, both serendipitous and traumatic, that have influenced Winton’s view of life and fuelled his distinctive artistic vision.

Island Home: Camping in hidden inlets, walking in high rocky desert, diving in reefs, bobbing in the sea between surfing sets, Winton has felt the place seep into him, with its rhythms, its dangers, its strange sustenance, and learned to see landscape as a living process. In Island Home, Winton brings this landscape and its influence on the island nation’s identity and art vividly to life through personal accounts and environmental history.

With all this talk of wins and Mr Winton – it seems fitting to start the year with a “win” related question. What is your favourite word containing the letters WIN consecutively – and why? (e.g. “I like the word TWINE because I like rope” etc).

Make your entry memorable – because our favourite will win all three books!

THIS COMPETITION HAS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR YOUR ENTRIES! WINNER WILL BE EMAILED AND ANNOUNCED IN OUR NEWSLETTER.
