What’s YOUR 2016 writing goal? Tell us!

Whether you believe in its power or not, the presence of a new year being just around the corner is difficult to ignore. It’s often a time to take stock, look back at the past year and set goals for the next one and beyond.

We often talk about our wonderful community here at the Australian Writers’ Centre, and the positive effect of having like-minded and inspiring people around you. It’s that sort of energy that drives our graduate forums, our online and classroom groups, and in the friendships formed through a love of writing. So, with just one month left in the year, we’d like to put two questions to you:

1. What is YOUR writing goal for 2016? (This can be big or small – it’s your goal. Be honest and be daring!)

2. What is the best quote or piece of advice for writers that you’ve heard? (Again, whatever gets you out of bed, to your desk, motivates you to write or reminds you of your love of words!)

And, yes, I want your responses! Simply fill out the form below to share with us your answers to these two questions.

Send them through to me any time from now until Sunday 13 December 2015. I look forward to hearing what you have to say!

(By replying, you’ll agree that I can share these with our community (no names, don’t worry) and create a powerful snapshot of what we’re all aiming for in the coming year – and inspiration to help us get there.)
