What is the purpose of this event?
Our December event is part of our continuing series of networking get-togethers where our talented graduates can meet each other, share stories and hear from a relevant speaker.
The key aim of this event is to network and get to know other writers (and have fun!). While a speaker will share their journey as a writer, or experience in the publishing industry, this event is not a formal training session.
Ticket cost is $10, and proceeds are directly donated to charity. For this event, the funds are going to Doggie Rescue: a no-kill shelter that rescues and re-homes abandoned dogs from Sydney’s pounds.
As the proceeds go directly to charity, the ticket price is non-refundable even if you are unable to attend.
Who is the organiser?
This event is organised by the Australian Writers’ Centre as a service to graduates and the writing community.
