Award for digitally published work now open

Do you have digitally published works?

Then we have a prize for you! 

The Woollahra Digital Literary Award celebrates works originally published in a digital format – e.g. epub, online articles etc. And, it’s in its fourth year and going strong.

There are guidelines for eligible work (it can’t just be any old thing published on the web). 

There are three categories with a $7000 prize pool.

From the Woollahra Library website:

Non-Fiction ($3000 prize)

A monograph, collection of essays or a long essay – published in the first instance online or in an electronic format that can be accessed on a computer, tablet or mobile device. 3,000-80,000 words.

Fiction ($3000 prize)

A novel, novella or short story collection – published in the first instance online or in an electronic format that can be accessed on a computer, tablet or mobile device. 3000-80,000 words.

Flash and Short Fiction ($1000 prize)

Short-form fiction, published in the first instance online or in an electronic format that can be accessed on a computer, tablet or mobile device. 100-3000 words.

This year’s judges are Sam Twyford-Moore, Stephen Pham, and Pip Smith.

The Woollahra Digital Literary Award is open to Australian residents aged 16 years and over and entries close 9 March 2020.
