Okay, end of winter – cobwebs and all that. Time to stretch your creative muscles. Keen to play?
Today’s the 29th, so we challenge you to write a story that uses EXACTLY 29 words. But wait, there’s more. Your story has to begin and end with the SAME word and include the names of at least TWO countries in it.
Got it? This challenge should be a nice short task for you – like a set of creative jumper cables for your right brain. Spend as little or as long on it as you want. Sometimes that’s all you need to get on a roll for the day, or jolt you out of a rut with your work in progress. Whenever you’re feeling a bit low on mojo, just changing gears for as little as five minutes on another task is all it takes.
So, write us a story! Have fun with it – let your creative juices flow. And we’ll share some of our favourites on the blog soon.
Submit your story before midnight Saturday 31 August 2019 (Sydney/Melbourne time).
THIS CHALLENGE HAS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR TAKING PART! SOME OF OUR FAVOURITES WILL BE FEATURED IN AN UPCOMING BLOG POST.
If you love creative challenges like this, you’ll love MOJO MONTH, kicking off on Sunday. We already have a stack of people lining up ready to receive their daily ‘goody bags of motivation’ throughout September – why not join them! Click below for more details.
