The State Library of Victoria Fellowships 2017-18 are open

The State Library of Victoria has just opened up its fellowship applications for 2017-18! And we’re seriously excited for the opportunities for writers of all genres – fiction and non-fiction.

Like previous years, there’s a whole bunch of fellowships, some specifically for writers, some are open to all creatives, so it’s worth having a look through to see what you could apply for.

Fellowships open to writers include the Children’s Literature Fellowship, Creative Fellowships, Redmond Barry Fellowship, La Trobe Society Fellowship and more.

Whether you’re writing about colonial Victorian history or a sci-fi adventure for middle-graders, there’s opportunities galore.

The fellowships are funded by the State Library Victoria Foundation and other program partners, and are awarded annually on the advice of independent expert panels.

Applications close Sunday 23 April 2017.
