We love hearing from our students no matter what they have to say, but when we hear of a student being published, we just want to shout it from the rooftops! We’re a little scared of heights, so we’ll go with a blog post instead.
Bexy says:
I have finally published my very first book, a magazine-style e-book by cats, for cats. It’s called PUSSWEEK and it is my baby – I put a ridiculous amount of effort into it and I am so proud of the result. I did the whole thing myself – words, image sourcing, layout, design, illustrations, converting it to an e-publication, and finally self-publishing it on iBooks and Google Play. I am ecstatic to announce that after only one day on sale it topped the charts at No. 1 in the iBooks Humour category! Woohoo!
I could not have done this without everything I learned from the Writers’ Centre. I have done many courses with you, from Writing Picture Books to Travel Writing,Blog to book, Creative Writing and more. But the most helpful was ‘How to Create and Sell your Ebook’, which gave me the tools and knowledge to get off my butt and DO IT!
