Your short story could win you $2,000

The 2014 Lane Cove Literary Award is now open, and Australian writers over 16 years of age are invited to submit unpublished works in the following categories:

Short Story (max 3,000 words)
Winner prize: $2,000

Memoir (max 3,000 words)
Winner prize: $2,000

Waterbrook Poetry Prize (max 50 lines and 1,000 words)
Winner prize: $1,500

Additional Prizes

Lane Cove Market Square Youth Prize (16 – 24 years): $500
Conveyancing Headquarters Lane Cove Resident Prize: $500
