As cinemas reopen across Australia, thanks to Palace Films this week we’re offering up FIVE double passes to new film The Translators. It opens in cinemas from 17 September 2020.
A big hit at the recent Alliance Française French Film Festival, THE TRANSLATORS is written and directed by Régis Roinsard (‘Populaire’), this ingenious and wickedly entertaining new whodunit is an Agatha Christie-style mystery in the vein of the recent hit Knives Out centering on nine international language experts, hired by a supercilious publisher to translate the eagerly awaited final book of a bestselling Dragon-Tattoo-esque trilogy. But when the first ten pages leak online, everyone’s a suspect…
The premise is based on the real life lock-in translation of Inferno, Dan Brown’s follow-up to The Da Vinci Code.
